For a basic cut it doesn't matter which license your stylist holds, it matters more for combined services like a cut-and-facial visit, where only a cosmetologist is qualified for the skin work.
Different platforms count different things. Google and Yelp only count written reviews left by customers. Booking platforms like Squire often count every completed appointment as a rating data point, even without a written review, which inflates the number. When comparing shops, stick to one platform at a time rather than mixing counts.
